Rural Chatham-Kent farmland at golden hour
Candidate · Ward 2 · Chatham-Kent

Common-sense leadership for the people of Ward 2.

I'm Matt Lamarche, and I'm running for Council to fight for the infrastructure, accountability, and honest communication our community deserves.

Matt Lamarche, Ward 2 Council candidate for Chatham-Kent
What I'll fight for

Four priorities. One straightforward approach.

Ward 2 deserves a councillor who shows up prepared, asks the hard questions, and tells you the truth — even when it's complicated.

Infrastructure that lasts

Roads, drainage, and essential services — planned for the long term so we stay ahead of costly emergencies.

Responsible with your tax dollars

Accountability, real questions about spending, and money invested where it matters most to residents.

Practical, local growth

Backing agriculture and small business so Chatham-Kent remains a strong, vibrant place to live and work.

Honest communication

You shouldn't have to chase answers. Clear updates on what's happening and why — every step of the way.

"Just as important as any decision is communication. You deserve to know what's happening, why decisions are being made, and how they affect you."

Built here. For here.

Ward 2 is home — and it deserves a strong voice at the table.

Raising three kids here, I know firsthand how every Council decision lands at the kitchen table. From the price of groceries to the state of our concession roads, our families feel it. I'll bring that same kitchen-table mindset to the horseshoe.
